This post will allow you to introduce new ideas without commenting on some inappropriate post. I will move the comments thus entered into a new post. As always, you will need to identify yourself.
There are several ways we can work this. Currently all the posts are wide open. If we want to keep posts more confidential, we can exclude all but the registered users. That would require all participants to be invited to be contributors. This would require everyone to have a google id, and to be invited.
Alternately we could create an additional blog, for more sensitive conversations. You could request access via this site.

Introduction
Walking lists, lists of republicans to periodically contact have been around since before the republican party was established. I have been walking walking lists recently and I find it difficult to find people home and often visitors at your door are suspect. I believe all Republicans in precinct 187 would benefit from communication, and I propose investigating ways to facilitate that communication. One method would be email. You can email me at farnswd@comcast.net. Another is via a blog such as http://rld9pc187.blogspot.com/, A third is to email the blog at farnswd.ld9p187member@blogger.com (please sign your name or the posts won't appear).
On the blog, any "post", can be commented upon. You can let your feelings be known by responding to others ideas. (I will be allowing the posts and comments and will not allow posts I feel may not be from precinct187 republicans. I will not filter the content )
The advantage of looking at the blog is that you have made no commitment., but you can just look. Emailing is good, but email is so overloaded, things get lost. Emailing to the blog has the advantage of reaching all the viewers of the blog, and saving the emails in order so you can find them later.
What would I have3 to contribute? As a PC, I am in contact with elected Republican officials each month at the LD 9 meeting. If you would like, I can post what I learn there. In addition I can represent the blog posts you submit as the feelings of precinct 187. I can inform you of the LD9 meetings so you can attend yourself.
As Republican voters, you are already helping to maintain a representative government. We are at risk of losing our power to maintain that government. I call upon you to do more during these challenging times. I have chosen to become a Precinct Committeeman(PC). That is the first level of republican elected officials. A PC is able to vote for other republican officials. If you email me, I will enable you to be appointed to that position. (You are in luck, there are open positions).
If you are not ready to commit to that, feel free to work through me to encourage other republicans to vote, and instruct us how to vote.
